A vibrant celebration of floral and muscatel flavours, with subtle notes of cinnamon and citrus. This Izumi 2nd flush is expressive in aroma, bold in flavour, and smooth in texture — a gem for tea lovers.

Izumi is a rare cultivar in Japan previously used for making Kamairicha (pan-fried Japanese green tea). Mr. Yoshida transplanted it to his tea farm in 1992 and had been experimenting Izumi black tea since 2012, taking reference from Chinese Dan Cong oolong and Darjeeling tea. 

Brew the tea hot to fully enjoy its lovely aroma. You can also brew it strong and serve it over ice for refreshing summer sips.
