[Yoshida Tea Farm] Yabukita Misho 2nd Flush 2024 Honey Bouquet (30g)

Harvested from the 50-year-old tea bushes "Yabukita Misho", this is a solid Japanese black tea with honey and muscadel notes with a light astringency. The tea is ideal for enjoying in the morning as an elegant breakfast tea, or in the afternoon alongside biscuits and cakes.

Yabukita is the most common tea cultivar in Japan (it contributes 2/3 of Japanese tea) and is widely used for all types of Japanese green tea (sencha, hojicha, gyokuro, matcha... etc.) The name "Misho" means the tea bushes are planted from seedling instead of cutting, resulting in a more robust and complex tea.

Yoshida Tea Farm, founded in 1839, has over 180 years of experience in making tea. They began producing black tea in 2012 — a relatively new venture that has been a huge success, winning numerous awards in Japan and abroad.
